Current Volunteering Needs
for LGHS Music
Did you know it takes over 1000 parent hours to run all the programs over the course of the year? From full year commitments, one day events, and tasks you can do on your own time, there are many opportunities to help support our students.
Love to bake? You can make something for our concert sales. Planning to attend the football game? You can help sell our popular baked potatoes and be there to watch half time. Have a free Saturday? You can provide dinner service during a competition or help our teachers during a music festival. It is a great way to get to know fellow music parents and give back to the community.
For the 2026-2027 school year, we will be using SignUp Genius.

Get Cleared to Volunteer!
Most volunteer positions require district clearance, unless otherwise stated. You will need fingerprinting, background check, mandated reporter training, and a TB assessment. For new volunteers, visit this page for more information. Returning volunteers please be aware of the new (annual) mandated reporter training.
TB assessments expire every 4 years. Mandated reporter training is required yearly. Fingerprinting and background checks do not expire.
Note: Getting cleared for the K-8 district is a separate process.
Get Cleared to Drive!
We often need cleared drivers for events. If you are willing to drive children other than your own, please go through the short process to get cleared.
Current, active insurance must be on record. For most of us, that means you must complete this process every 6 months.
Fill out this form. Note, you will need to upload 3 documents:
1) Drivers license
2) Proof of insurance
3) DMV report (this is a $2 report you can quickly get from the DMV while filling out the form)
